Approved | Character House

JREY, trading as Urban Planners Queensland, has successfully secured development approval for the Park Street project in Spring Hill, Brisbane.

We’d like to thank the team at Kyabel for partnering with us throughout the development approval process. This collaborative approach has enabled a well-considered outcome within one of Brisbane’s most established inner-city precincts.

The approved development includes a two-into-three subdivision, the renovation of two existing dwellings, and the construction of a new, architecturally considered home. The approval comprises a Material Change of Use for the new dwelling house, along with a Development Permit for Building Work for the new residence.

The application was assessed under Brisbane City Plan 2014, including compliance with the Character Residential Zone Code, Dwelling House (Small Lot) Code, Traditional Building Character Design Overlay Code, and the Spring Hill Neighbourhood Plan.

This approval reflects a sensitive and strategic approach to infill development, balancing increased density with the character and planning intent of the Spring Hill area.
