Approved | Pre-1947 Dwelling Alterations – Brisbane

JREY®, trading as Urban Planners Queensland, assisted Maytree Studios and their clients in securing development approval from Brisbane City Council for works to a pre-1947 dwelling house within the Traditional Building Character Overlay.

The approval includes partial demolition and extensions to the existing dwelling, along with successful Early Referral Responses addressing both Amenity and Aesthetics and Design and Siting considerations.

The project was carefully planned to respect the traditional character of the dwelling and surrounding streetscape, while allowing for sensitive contemporary improvements that meet current living requirements.
