JREY® trading as UPQ has successfully secured development approval for a residential subdivision and multi-dwelling project in Brisbane.
The approval allows for the subdivision of one allotment into three lots, the construction of two new dwellings, and alterations and extensions to an existing dwelling house. The outcome enables a well-considered increase in density while maintaining alignment with the surrounding urban character.
The development application was rigorously assessed under Brisbane City Plan 2014, including compliance with the Low–Medium Density Residential Zone Code, Dwelling House (Small Lot) Code, Subdivision Code, and relevant secondary and overlay codes. These included infrastructure, stormwater, access and parking, landscaping, lighting, wastewater, and traditional building character provisions, as well as the Bulimba District Neighbourhood Plan.
This approval reflects a coordinated planning approach, balancing development potential with statutory requirements and local planning outcomes.
