JREY, trading as Urban Planners Queensland, is pleased to share that the development application for Mount Mee has been approved.

The approval includes a Material Change of Use for a new dwelling house and short-term accommodation, marking an important step toward realising the full potential of this unique rural property.

The existing low-set, four-bedroom brick dwelling will be retained and repurposed for short-term accommodation, while a new dwelling house will be constructed within a cleared area of the site. The proposal incorporates advanced water infrastructure and considered landscaping, with a strong focus on sustainability and long-term site stewardship. The project was designed by Maytree Studios.

The application was assessed by Moreton Bay Regional Council against the State Planning framework and the MBRC Planning Scheme, including compliance with the Rural Zone Code and Residential Uses Code.

We’d like to acknowledge our planning team for their diligence and attention to detail throughout the approval process, and thank Council for their constructive assessment. We also sincerely appreciate our clients’ trust and collaboration.

Client feedback:
“Well done and thank you for getting this through smoothly.”
