Approved | Townhouse Development

JREY, trading as Urban Planners Queensland, has successfully secured development approval for a townhouse development in Kelvin Grove, Brisbane, with the approval confirmed through the Planning and Environment Court.

The approved development comprises five townhouses within an established inner-city location. Key performance outcomes relating to bulk, scale and built form were carefully addressed, alongside detailed traffic engineering considerations for vehicle access and car parking.

In response to the site’s planning constraints, the proposal retains an existing pre-war dwelling to ensure compliance with the Traditional Building Character Overlay under Brisbane City Plan 2014, balancing increased residential density with heritage and character considerations.

The project was designed by Urban Design Solutions and represents a well-resolved planning outcome achieved through a rigorous statutory process.
